well, i've been at it again, adding to the body counts in the basement, fueled by the rage that is feeding me, DEEP WITHIN MY SOU...
err, wait, this isn't the audition for that new goth station? my bad.
*ahem* let me try this again. I've been at it again, but "it" has nothing to do with the ritual slaughter of my co-workers or neighbors. really. "it" instead refers to the web page. I managed to get creative today, and I figured out how to use a few interesting blending effects in photoshop. The result is more or less what I had in mind for the main logo. The rest, however, is not.
Here are some screen shots of what I have.
I rather like the default image floating above the small pics. i didn't make it either, it's a modified version of something that came from a computer game (that i further modified).
The idea here is when you mouse over one of the small pics, the bigger version replaces the default "mask" that's there with a bigger picture and some text. Whenever you're in "your" section of the page, your pic and saying will stay at the top to further help identify who's material you're looking at. Also, You guys can have whatever text you want there, so long as it's short (1-3 words) and there can only be 3 of them.
The only part I'm unhappy with are the small pics and the large pics. I feel there needs to be something more done with them than just plopping them on the page, but nothing is coming to mind. *sigh*
so, what do you guys think? is it halfway decent, or do i need to go back to the drawing board?
