Movie Season is coming
This year will be awesome for movies - I anticipate many nights at the theatre for me. To name a few would be Harry Potter (of course), Shrek the Third, Pirates of the Carribean and some really good looking smaller productions as well. (Smaller being not so overhyped. Harry Potter for example has been advertised since last year)
One of the smaller movies that I just recently learned of, is called the Golden Compass. It'll probably build far more hype as the release date approaches, but for now it's reletively unheard of. Or, I live under a rock. It has Nicole Kidman in it though, playing a platinum blonde villianess. Not really into girls myself, but that woman is hawt.
This movie has a fantasy setting, and I think the most appealing aspect of it (for me anyways) is the Daemons. The idea is, that the human soul lives outside the body in the form of an animal that's always with you. If you don't have one, you're a freak. (Non-furries are freaks!) Otherwise it's a pretty typical story of little girl heroinism. Hopefully not another bad hero-complex in 60 seconds movie though...I hate that.
Anyways, the website has a little feedback style meme that tells you what your daemon would be, then gives 12 days for your friends to agree/disagree before it permanently sets itself as...whatever is most agreeable I guess.
Whatever, I thought it was neat. :3

In other news, I'm feeling wickedly sick. -_-; And, I discovered that windows Vista won't play nice with the original Sims game. That makes me sad.
