Communication Difficulties

Since the last unit we trained left two weeks ago, work has been easy going. Roleplaying duties recommence on Tuesday which will leave me with no real room or time to update again till I return home for 12 days starting on the 28th of June. The Air Force hotel rooms at March Airfield base on Hwy 215 were long since filled when we arrived. After a lil while residing at the Riverside police recruit barracks, we moved to *drumroll* Marine Corp barracks. We still have to do duty, and field day our rooms though it's not enforced as much as if we were on Lejeune. No uniforms and we get to keep our long hair and goatees.

Whistler: I want peace on earth and good will toward men.
Bernard Abbott: Oh this is ridiculous.
Martin Bishop: He's serious.
Whistler: I want peace on earth and goodwill toward men.
Bernard Abbott: We're the United States Government! We don't deal with that sort of thing.
Martin Bishop: You're just gonna have to try.
Bernard Abbott: All right, I'll see what I can do.
Whistler: Thank you very much. That's all I ask.

Things were pretty boring with lack of transportation until I met the Dean family a week ago. 98% of the time the parents love me, and this was no different. I am friendly, polite, and I welcome the home feeling, in return I'm being spoiled by their kind generosity. We plan on going to Disneyland in August when we get some time off then, also San Francisco and as much of the rest of Calli while they can. I'm hoping to make my way up to Las Vegas in mid July for Robyn's(
ilyafe ) birthday where I will finally get to meet this sweet wonderful woman.

Having no internet this past month has made it difficult for me to keep up with pple back home. My phone plan with Verizon really only leaves the weekends available for me to call without my bill shooting up through the roof due to the 3000 mile distance. I'm sure I'll have pics up soon to show what's been going on out here, and also to show everyone how much of my overall appearance has changed since becoming a part of this. I'm so far behind on my friend's journals I don't know if I'll be able to fully catch up on everything or if I'll even have the time too.

Congrats to Tiff, Stephanie, Brandi, Shannon, Alyse, and Justin on graduating. If I forgot anyone you can smack me over the head later. Wish I could I have been there for you guys to see that. For now at least it's good to update this journal of mine which has been lacking as of late. I'll try to comment on other journals later today.
