a little surprise
i had a good day. my biology teacher mr.phillips has this box and in order to see what's inside of it you have to get the phylum of so of these cirtain micro-organisms right (man did that sound nerdy). well before the weekend came i wanted to try and see what was in the box and they said that they would show me if i got at least five flash cards right. simple huh? well no...it wasn't. or at least it wasn't for me because i study about, oh i think it was...NOTHING! i couldn't even remember what the stupid animals were called.
so today i gave it a shot. i took Sunday afternoon to make flash cards and study from them myself, and when i got to school today i knew that i had it down. so i went to his class at lunch (i had a lab to work on anyway, which i ended up not doing)and after i had finished eating i asked mr.langly (my teacher's working partner)if we could do the flash cards again. we did and i missed like three, but it didn't matter because it's not like it had to be five in a row.
i had heard about what was in the box from other people i know, but i wanted to see it first had. i went to slide the lid open and some huge freaking spider swung out at me. i was so shocked i almost fell off of the stool that i was sitting on. my B.F. was laughing so hard that i couldn't help laughing too.
it was a funny prop and i wasn't too surprised about it seeing as the two teachers who made it are pretty much senile old men. all in all, it was really funny.
