Weekly Whinge 27 April 2008
The visit to the dentist went more poorly than I had hoped. I need a root canal. Also, I have a few cavities. Also, I grind my teeth in my sleep and need a mouth guard. If they did all the dental work on me that they want to, it would cost more than 3 years' pay. Fortunately, I don't give a fuck about the cavities or tooth-grinding, so it's only one-and-a-half years' pay of dental work I need to have done.
My gnome is doing well, if not doing much. My arrival in the game seems to have reawakened the interest of the other couple of gnome players in the game, so we're hanging out and planning mischief together, even if they're both several levels ahead of me.
Also, my GNOME is doing well. Ubuntu 8.04 (the Linux distribution I use) was released this week, and things seem to run a little smoother and slicker, though I think most of the updates were behind-the-scenes. All I'm saying is, my operating system is free and releases new upgrades every six months.
