Ehh it was the only posistion available, and this is like a one in a million chance. I'll be doing procedures and stuff and basically just getting paid for additional training as a nurse. I'll be way more prepared for work then the other students in my class :-) because the main problem with graduate nurses is that one they cannot handle a full patient load. two, they have basically zip in the area of critical thinking skills. they may say they're teaching us what we need to know.. but apparently not. there's a problem somewhere or they wouldn't be agetting new nurses who really needed more school time.
also it's 12 hour shifts, thus, only working two days a week.
but yeah, i'm soooooo excited! i supposed tohear back in about a week to let me know when i start orientation. :-)
