busy busy
work's been so busy last week & this, that i've barely breathed outside it, except for having to goto mum & dad's to take them a place...
yesterday, dad called me at work to see if i'd come over after work to take him to the grocery store... {he was all out of o'doul's... '-}
i told him i'd go home first to feed talu & let the traffic die down, then be over... sure enough, he called me at home @ 6:30 to see if i was gonna be there before 7, and bribe me with "dinner out" if i could be... *heh*
so, he got to go out to eat *and* the grocery store, and i ended up with 99¢ blackberries on special at h-t in the bargain! mum managed to get a few things *she* wanted, too, and she & i came away with leftover dinner for today's lunch!
still have a few presents to finish, and need to get teh box to california mailed out this week so they'll get it...
here's hoping *something* slows down a bit before the holiday is gone, gone goooonnnnne!
