Working on what was supposed to be a simple outfit for the tiny, to tide me over till I can go buy some fabric to test a yukata for the SDs tomorrow ...

Somehow a simple t-shirt dress turned into a bunny hoodie dress with a lined hood ... we shall see if this turns out.

I has doll shirt! I was going to put a collar on the neckline and finish the bottom hem ... but somehow the shirt looks good without it. In fact, I think it would probably look worse if I did finish it, so I'm leaving them unfinished ( Read more... )

I just randomly got in the mood to modify a pair of Yukio's pants ._o They're dollmore pants, so they were technically too short for him, but I liked the style too much to resell them. So I suddenly decided to make them into shorts (so they'd show more of his boots, and look like they were shorter on purpose, rather than just high-water ( Read more... )

It's looking like the pants will indeed turn out. And look nicer than I expected. The pockets are a bit small [not wide enough] (that's my mistake in modding the pattern), but I know how to fix that for next time. And really . . . I've had "professional" company pants that had pockets that weren't properly sized -___-;; So . . . it'll nig at me ( Read more... )

Bleh, so I tried to sew a mikoto size button down shirt. It's very flawed and very much a prototype, though I could probably get it to photograph okay. I need to make a few adjustments to the pattern and I think it'll work fine, though ( Read more... )

Since I didn't get to reading I drafted two patterns really quick. Or rather severely modded some pattern pieces I had laying around from various printed patterns. I currently have a half inch seam allowance, I was thinking to give me room to play with, but I think I'm actually gonna take it in to conserve fabric ( Read more... )

Gave up on the Yukata at the moment, mainly cause I wanted them done by Sunday . . . but that's gonna be too much stress with my school work. The under kimono came out a little small . . . it just barely fits, but I had to take part of the seam out at the arms -_-; Still, it'll work for its purpose . . . .
