Got tagged back by kisekinotenshi to do Damien ... but I wanted to wait till I had his face painted to take a new photo of him first XDDD
So ... Damien.
1.) This may be obvious, but his hair is not naturally blue. Nor any of the other colors he dyes it (and these change weekly/bi-weekly/purely on whim for the character, though I do not own enough wigs to do this in his doll form). His natural hair color is a shade of brown he describes as looking like "shit." He is vain and hates it. Thus the dye.
2.) Was born a rich boy, but ended up on the streets after his entire family (parents, one set of grandparents, and three siblings) was murdered by an assassin. He happened to be out of the house that night. He doesn't really remember them, he's blocked it out on pure trauma alone. He was around 10-11 at this time.
The media actually believes that he died as well, so he's got a death certificate out there. This also means that his current birth certificate is forged.
3.) "Jones" is not his legal surname, though it is what almost everyone knows him as. Though his legal name is obviously not his birth name, since 'Damien Deardorf' was presumed dead with the rest of his family.
4.) Collects "cute" restaurant ads and frames them as wall decorations. He did it on whim with an onigiri ad to start with, and then kept doing it because it annoyed Satoru.
5.) Knows a lot of Spanish slang, and can speak the language well enough to get by ... the greatest part of his vocabulary is vulgar, however.
6.) Is very good at acting either charming or silly so that people will underestimate him. He's also a bit of a playboy ... part of this is building an image to hide behind, but he really does enjoy being that way. Even if he does find it to be a bit lonely every so often.
7.) Doesn't really feel that he fits in anywhere. This doesn't particularly bother him that often, he's not the type by nature to associate "home" with a location. He does sometimes wish he could associate it with a person, though.
8.) Is actually one of the lowest ranked ESP personnel in terms of psychic power. (Satoru is one of the highest rank.) He was an early experiment for enhancements, and as such his enhancements are more permanent (and stronger) than those released to the general populace. They've become a part of him. These enhancements put him on even ground with Satoru ... but naturally he ranks much lower.
9.) Unlike Satoru, Damien favors knives--though he is a decent enough shot with a gun. He learned to defend himself with knives while growing up, and so they are the weapon he is most comfortable with. He carries at least five on his body whenever he is armed at all, often times even more. All of his coats and jackets have special sheathes that he has either sewn in or had added. Some of his pants do as well and several of his boots.
10.) Post-all-the-bad-shit-that-happens-at-the-end-of-their-story, he and Toshiya spend a good deal of their bonding time geeking out over cartoons, movies, and video games. They would have done so (and possibly did in small amounts) during the story as well, they just had lots of other things to occupy them.
(Added note on photo: Damn if that wig doesn't like to slide around on me, though I sorta like that particular part)
