I am rapidly falling in love with Children of Bodom. I can't help it! The guitar riffs are seriously brilliant. I can't stand the fact that the vocals are all growls and nothing else. As sexy as Alexi Laiho's growls are, they get dull after a while. Actually, forget his growls, Alexi Laiho himself is extremely sexy. I must confess a weakness for men with long hair and black-painted nails. Another weakness is thinking that guys drinking beer is sexy- half the pictures of Alexi Laiho seem to feature him with a beer in his hand. And also, the one time I saw Mike drinking beer, it was so adorable - he actually does a beer face! You know, that face that anyone who drinks beer does: that slight scrunch of all the facial features, the holding the beer in the mouth and then swallowing. I laughed at him about it and he bore it good-naturedly I must say.
Mayu had a bad time at Daniel's apparently. I mean, she just wanted to be home all the time. I guess seeing to much of your partner isn't good... It makes me almost glad that I didn't meet Mike yesterday. Well, I also got my period this morning, and if I'd been with him when I got it, it would have been a real bummer all around. It's funny though- it seems he never thinks about the fact that I'm supposed to have a period. I've been with him twice when I had my period and he didn't know - the first time, we still weren't sleeping together, so he didn't have any way of knowing [though you'd think my lack of eagerness at certain parts of making out would indicate a state other than normal]. The second time, I got it in the morning, but it was very light since it was just the beginning and I actually forgot I had gotten it and slept with him. Thankfully it was so light he didn't realize a thing. But you would think he'd wonder about my amazing lack of bloody nights, no? This weekend I'll have my period too, but it'll be the end of day four by the time any sexual activities will come up and it's light enough then to go unnoticed hopefully, cause I doubt he'd consent to sleeping with me if he knew I had my period cause guys are generally grossed out by it.
The guys are coming this weekend [I HOPE, if Mike doesn't bail a-g-a-i-n] and I really hope we'll have a good time. We'll be spending all day together the four of us, and hopefully it'll be great - we'll listen to music and whatever, and smoke and just talk and cuddle and stuff. Then we'll go to eat at some fast food place or other at the mall, and then we'll "go to sleep" in our seperate rooms. Morning will be more of what the previous afternoon contained.
I really like when we all hang out the four of us- it's fun, because it's casual and friendly, and yet you get to kiss someone once in a while. And we always laugh our heads off. I'm bringing a camera this time, because Mayu and I want documentaion of our times with them.
I've started reading a Jonathen Kellermen novel. I love light fiction, I can't help it- this book, full as it is with psycological stuff, still falls under that catagory I think. I love that simple kind of writing style. Meanwhile, I'm still re-reading Kushiel's Avatar. The newest Kushiel book is coming out in June! I can't wait!! I've become so addicted to these, they're becoming my new Harry Potters. Speaking of Harry Potter, just a couple months till the last book comes out. I've literally grown up on these books. I think I started reading them as the third one was coming out, and I was around 9 I think, and when the book comes out, I'll be Harry's age: 17. I literally grew up with these books. It'll be like the end of an era when I finish reading book seven.
Okay, I think I've squeezed out as much rambly-rambling as I can for tonight. I'll go curl up in bed [cramps ><] and read for a couple hours before I go to sleep.
