It's freaking snowing out! I don't think any of it (or at least much of it) will stick, but still, we had a whole week of it being nice and warm, if a little rainy (and I love rain so that works) and now it's snowing! Sometimes I really hate our weather here...

We got a puppy last week. Mum said we were not getting any more pets then she started looking at Pekingese puppies (nearly everyone has their favorite breed that's hers, she's always had at least one Pekingese for as long as she can remember) on the internet and her heart just melted. We (Mum and I) traveled to Minnesota and picked him out. He was the smallest of the group and just gorgeous: all black except for his front paws and a stripe down his chest. He love to play and attack your toes (which really hurts when he grabs it and shakes it, I swear he files his teeth at night *laughs*). Mum named him Junjei (I hope I spelled that right), it's pronounced 'June-Gee' and means 'Bright, shining, handsome'. :)

Turns out the Mobil Station I'm working at is closing on May 31th. I'm not meant to tell anyone until they've announced it "officially", but I doubt any of you are going to spread it around town. *laughs* Apparently The Station has been up for sale for a while and they've began to get offers that they're starting to take seriously due to the fact that with the rising gas prices, and the new Quik-Trip taking most of our customers, if they don't sell soon they'll just go bankrupt and go out of business anyway... They had been hoping to change it into something else as they "Finally had the perfect crew", but they just don't know what they would change it into and didn't really have the time or money to do so.
I'm quite bummed at this news to tell you the truth, even with our manager being incompetent at her position I rather liked the job. Plus without a drivers license, gas being at $3.64 (For a fricking gallon!) and the nearest "big town" is about 15 mile away I don't really have a wide selection of new jobs, what I'd really like is the work in the video store or book store, but I think they're both family-run businesses (and truthfully I don't know when the bookstore opens, it never is when I go by)... I guess I'll have to talk Gary (My brother) into driving me into town later this week, I do have tests at the library, so stopping at a few other places shouldn't be too big of a deal. Though I wonder if I can apply anywhere seeing as they haven't announced their closing yet and the other places will want to know why I'm leaving...

I don't ever know what to think about the episode to tell the truth. I think my reaction can be summed up thusly: *sobs*.
Even having been Spoiled, maybe even because of it, because I knew what was coming, I had a hard time watching the whole end bit.
It really was brilliantly done I thought, I'd heard so many people say it was like a bad fanfic that I wasn't looking forward to it at all, but it wasn't, there was no Gary/Mary-sues even Grey didn't fall into that category and he very easily could have, but more than that the whole thing fit both continuity (the space pig thing made me giggle) and personality-wise. Like their deaths, oh, I hate the fact that they died, but it was done "right" in a way with Owen determined to "Rage [his] way to oblivion" until he realised what he was doing to Tosh (and her reaction to his screaming was what really made me start crying, gods, but that just broke my heart) and Tosh trying to save everyone even as she's dying and having had the foresight to leave a farewell message and neither died alone.
Plus the acting, I thought, was just miles above any of the other episodes, even John Barrowmans acting was more subtle (I mean, bless the man, but he can go so over-the-top sometimes).
I really hope if they have a third season that the episodes are this quality and that they, for all our sakes, let Tosh and Owen stay dead! Owen has already died twice and they did these deaths, these farewells right. If they ruin that by bring them back, I swear to all the Gods of TV that I will never watch Torchwood again.
