All things considered, Chiaki Shinichi figured Nodame for a screamer.
As with so many other things about Nodame, this turned out to be not true.
Which was not to say that Nodame is silent in bed by any means. She makes soft noises when he runs his hands down her sides and she moans as he presses feathery light kisses down the length of her neck.. She even curses at times, filthier than he's ever imagined, when Chiaki runs his mouth up her inner thigh, his mouth close but apparently not close enough for her tastes.
But when she comes, back arched taut and head thrown against the pillows, Nodame is silent save for the raspy breaths she lets out as she shudders. After Chiaki settles against her, she rarely says anything at all, merely runs her hands through his hair or trails her fingers over his back.
Chiaki doesn't pretend to know why this is; he just thinks its nice here.
At least Nodame doesn't attempt to push him to overcome things he's not yet ready to overcome.
