That is really bad luck. On the upside, it probably could have been so much worse, right? What's the healing time, do you know?

Okay, I'll try to keep it varied here, in terms of length and everything.

+ We're Not in Kansas Anymore by lotrabc; 30,800 words, J2 AU, NC-17
Okay, so this fic is kind of fucked up, featuring Jensen and Jared in prison, and there is hurt flying everywhere, everyone is either a sociopath or a psychopath and it is fucking delicious. Written very, very well.

+ With Glowing Hearts by zuben_eschamali ; 2000 words, J2 AU, NC-17
This is so sweet, Jensen as a sight-impaired skier, with Jared as his guide. The action and sense of freedom Jensen finds in skiing is explored and written so well, makes me want to go skiing so bad.

+ That's Not Our Song by kelleigh; 2900 words, J2 AU, R
Urgh, this is just so adorable, the contrast between Jensen and Jared and despite all that, they just work together so perfectly. It's kinda cliched, but enjoyable.

+ Better Things by bittersplendor; 1700 words, J2, R
This is short but so indescribably amazing in terms of characters and their personalities; the way they do things and why they do them. I am not even kidding, a genius character study of Jared.

And soome SPN Gen, because I'm not sure where you stand in that arena:

+ Childish Things by kroki_refur; 4000 words, R
De-aged!Sam and it is the freaking cutest thing, I can't even begin to tell you. Just asdgffgfhhs go read because you will die!

+ What is Plucked Will Grow Again by sixth_seed; 13,400 words, PG-13
This is probably the best SPN fic I have ever read, definitely one of the best of all the stuff written in S6. Dean's voice is so bitter and lost and yearning, it breaks you a little inside. And the storyline, the plot, is breath-taking. On the outset, it seems kinda cracky, a SPN crossover with The Last Unicorn, but you become so drawn into it. The ending is stunning. So stunning. Read it and love it.

sorry for all the edits *facepalm*
