(no subject)
This film looks like it is totally my kind of film. Fast cars? Yup. Classic cars? Uhuh. Explosions? Woo! Guns? Yay! Half decent soundtrack? Score! Demons? Nice! Sign me up!
But wait! There's a catch! Those are all things that tick my boxes BUT it's got Nicholas Cage in it.
Sigh.
Now don't get me wrong. I'm sure he is a great guy but the last couple of films I have seen him in (okay nearly every single film) has been a disappointment. Now I don't want a film which is clearly a mash up of Supernatural and The Fast and Furious to suck because that would just break my heart.
Seriously it would! It would actually break. My. Heart.
Anyway! Some of you might well ask "Charlie, how is this like Supernatural?" Well if the fact that the main character seems to have CLIMBED out of hell to AVENGE a family member then perhaps the SPECIALISED GUN featured at one point in the trailer might be a big old hint. Or maybe it's the cars? The ue of demons? The whole lugging shot guns around like they're John, Sam and Dean Winchester? Maybe? Perhaps? Could be?
Still disagree with me? That's fine. I'm gonna just wait till February 2011 and see what Drive Angry has to offer.
