I even tried sleeping with a nightlight.
Didn't work.
So now it's 12:30am and I'm watching "Laguna Beach" on my computer. I love that show. I know I'm in the minority but I love Kristin. She's so flippin' pretty. And Stephen is extremely hot. Last night, I looked over at Jeff when he was sleeping and for a split second, he reminded me of Stephen and I got really happy! EEK! That's bad, isn't it? Don't get me wrong, I think Jeff is adorkable, but Stephen is... Stephen. Mmmm...
Anyway, I'm currently working on my portfolio for the School of Education application. I'm not gonna lie, it's turning out very swell. I'm waiting for Christie to send pictures of the flowers and stuff that we did in my cousin Chrissy's classroom to add as part of my documentation. And today when Jeff was at work, I made up my outline for my personal statement. So maybe tomorrow I'll type that sucker out. The maximum pages is 5, so it really shouldn't take too long. I'd like to have my portfolio finished by next week so I can make an appointment to meet with my advisor... even though I hate that Lockman guy. He sucks ass. Oh well.
Tonight Jeff is in Madison. He's doing Alice Cooper/Cheaptrick tomorrow night. I really wanted to go but I had no way of getting there. I only know one Mr. Cooper song, but I guess the actual production of the show is unbelievable. Just like in "Wayne's World." Hot.
Last night was fun. We went over to Mike and Lisa's and Mike made steak on the grill. It was quite tastey. Then we just hung out and had a couple beers. Their house is really coming along. It's quite cute! So that's exciting for them. Lisa is excited because her kitchen cabinets come in the next 2 weeks. So today, I stayed at Jeff's while he was at work. I did some random stuff to keep myself occupied. I made the bed, did the dishes, made Kool-Aid for him, and other crap for myself. Then Mom came to get me and I retook the part of the PPST. I passed. Groovy. Then we went to dinner at Panera. I love that place.
So yep, I put some pictures up on my photos page. They have been sitting on my camera for a while and they're all from this summer. I wish I would have taken pictures at Summerfest and camping, but I'm an idiot and didn't.
Oh P.S. I talked to Bobby down in Mobile, AL and he said everything is all messed up there but he's ok. Hopefully everyone who was hit by Katrina will get back to normal soon. But I doubt that will happen. I think it's about time for our government to stop being the World Police and take care of their own damn country and the insane gas prices. What a fucking tool.
Ok, I think I'm going to get back to my portfolio. Maybe eventually I'll actually go back to bed... but I don't forsee that happening. I need to get over this pretty fast because I'm living by myself now. I also honestly need to stop watching scary movies. I'm a big chicken. Go ahead, make fun of me.
I think I might watch the 2nd and 3rd season of "Newlyweds." That sounds like a good idea while I continue to plug away at my portfolio. Nighty.
