So Close

I had the kids almost out the door. We had had a fairly quiet day as Theta was suspended and Epsilon and Michael were both absent. Just as I had said, "Out the door. Have a nice weekend," Helene screamed, "F...er!" at a younger child standing next to the wall. I sent her into the office, and wrote her up. She was giving the drama the whole time. "You didn't hear what he said. He called me a "B." You always pick on me. You never hear what other people say...." I gave it to the principal and asked if Mr. Carlos was around. She said that he had left for the day. I asked her if she'd like me to put the write up in Mr. Carlos' box for Monday and she said that I should.

I explained to Helene that she was the older child. She should be able to control herself. All the while more drama issued from Helene, rolling eyes, sucking teeth, crocodile tears, screaming, and wailing, and gnashing of teeth. She said that she was going to punch someone out if they said anything even if it was a littler kid. I said, "If you punch someone you will certainly be suspended." She just wasn't going to calm down. I told her to go home. (She walks to the project across the street.)

I sent a text to her dad. Mr. Carlos will deal with her on Monday. I wonder if I can count it as 4 for 4 if she is suspended.
