Update...
Well, it seems an inordinate amount of time since i made a proper entry, partly down to slight apathy, but also because of being truly busy. I seem to have only one evening each week now where i hven't got something planned or in need of being done.
So, where to start with what has been going on? I won't be able to do a lot of it justice if i start with any intention of writing a detailed account as, in line with what i have put above, i can't spend more than an hour on the computer tonight, as other things are beckoning me away. Instead, i will settle for a brief account, headlines almost ;-)
A fortnight ago, Alan and I took ourselves off on a last minute (ish) holiday to the middle of nowhere. It was partly motivated by a desire to see more of each other, but also to give me some peace and quiet away from all the things that are causing me stress at the moment (read: job) so that i could do some proper decision making. We had a lovely time and saw some beautiful scenery but the practical outcome, for the purposes of keeping this entry shortish was the following:
--I have decided i definitely will accept my place on the LPC and the deposit cheque is going into the first class post tomorrow.
--I have handed my notice in at work and the last day i will have to be in that ghastly place is the 15th April.
So thats it. There is more to say about the few nice things i have been doing since i quit, as i have been able to feel that i can enjoy myself more fully now certain pressures cannot impact upon me, but i shall leave that for later in the week.
