Stormy!
Well, it’s windy out there, that’s for sure! I hope no one has suffered any damage from the bad weather that’s plaguing us at the moment.
The bad weather caused me some transport woe this morning, what with trains running late, bring cancelled or oddly developing faults because of the weather. I, along with the rest of the passengers, got booted off my first train to be told it couldn’t complete the journey to Liverpool after a few stops. We were told to get on the next one, which was a bit of a squash, and also meant further waiting because of one train that had stopped in the tunnel. So I was half an hour later than usual this morning.
I’ve spent most of the day packing up all the boss guy’s files ready for his office move on Friday. My hands are all dry and covered in little cuts. I’ve now sat down to have a break from it and get a cup of tea, which is well needed! The only problem with being sat down is being able to see the pile of work that is rapidly accumulating and which will require my attention as soon as the file moving is done. I already have a list that covers an A4 sheet of paper, so I’m concerned about the fact I’m adding to it faster than getting things ticked off!
