I am finding that because I’ve fallen into the habit of only focussing on one task at any one time, my progress is slowing. So, to try and get things moving again, I have decided to follow the lead of some other 101’ers and looked at my list and picked a few things to work on in the coming weeks. I’ve tried to pick one thing from each section of my list.
So I am promising to myself that by the end of April I will:
1 Buy 2 more of the CDs recommended to me months ago by people on my friend’s list. (Iron by Enseferium as recommended by
slevis in my Amazon basket right now - just need to sort finances.
lostlorelei, your recommendation can’t be bought from the ‘usual’ places, so I see acquiring it as a new challenge!)
2 Concentrate on my ‘4 mile walks’ goal and ensure I do one in both March (Can we find one for the Easter break,
torallion?) and April.
3 Send out a postcard/card for both March and April (there are things happening which merit cards, so I have no excuse!)
4 Have started my pros and cons lists about potential rental locations in my ‘September Plan’ book
5 Have listed some of my items on eBay (I have a lot to get through so I really need to get started)
6 Have bought 1 new charm for my charm bracelet and as such have started working on task 61
7 Have thought of a suitable alternative to goal 66 or marked it as failed (I don’t really play EvE Online any more so the goal is irrelevant)
8 Renew my passport!
BONUS:
9 Reach £2000 out of my ‘save £3000’ goal. I’m on £1600 now, so it will take some careful budgeting. Also, given I’m trying to achieve a healthy ‘cushion’ in my current account (i.e. not spending everything I earn each month!) it will be good for me to be more aware of what I’m spending for a few weeks.
