Car(Perhaps)...
Trying hard not to get too excited about the fact that there is a potential ‘me’ car in the Autotrader today. Even better, its being sold right near to where Alan’s dad lives, so he is going to see it later today for me, and if it is a good one, he will try and get it for me. Its going to involve a bit of bargaining though, as it is being sold for £2200, whereas my top limit was supposed to be £1500. I think I can stretch a bit further, as Alan said he can contribute a bit, and my dad said he will lend me £200, so if the guy will accept an offer of around £1950, it could be mine!!!
But I’m not to get too excited.
I have to remember that the car was only advertised for the first time today, so the likelihood of the vendor wanting to accept less cash for it is low, as given a bit more time, someone will come along with the asking price.
