An argument

I stopped at a party store on the way home from werk today. I've stopped at the place a few times in the past. Today I walk in & the guy behind the counter (owner I assume, I always see him there) is arguing with a customer. I think, oh great. The customer is a regular, who I assume lives across the street at the low-income apartments. The customer insisted he gave party-store guy the money for whatever he took yesterday. It sounded like b/c the guy was in the low-income place the partystore owner lets them run tabs. "cept this time the guy wanted to run a tab saying he had paid yesterday but the partystore guy swore up & down he did not get paid. This went on for a few minutes & the arguing got louder & louder. I went to the very back thinking I wanted some sort of winecoolers or something. I hoped low-income guy didn't have a gun on him. Partystore guy told him he would no longer allow him to hold off on paying for stuff. Low-income guy told him that was a bad shame & finally left. I hoped he wasn't going back to the apt for a gun, but I purchased some random stuff & got out quick.
