1. No strange, creepy noises lately.
2. A new neighbor moved in above me on Saturday. A very young girl with a son, probably 3 or 4 years old. The girl and her other girlfriends partied all weekend. Thankfully they left sometime Monday and she quieted down. They'll probably be back every weekend. *eyeroll* The boy has fun racing through the apartment constantly.
3. I had a strange dream last night. I dreamed I was back at my ex-job. Again. *headdesk* It was the end of the day and I was gathering my things together to leave. I found an earring back of mine on the ground. I picked it up wondering where the earring was. I saw it couple inches away. I bent to pick it up and saw another. Then another and another earring back. They were all the "starter earrings" you get when you first get your ears pierced. They started multiplying on the ground. I kept trying to pick them up. Sometimes the ones in my hand would fall back to the ground. I was stuck in an endless loop of trying to pick up earrings and backs when I woke up.
4. I was really bored today and and I heard there was supposed to be a film crew somewhere in downtown Detroit filming for some movie. So I used up some gas and went down there. I never did see any filming going on, but for all I know they waited until tonight or something. I already forget the name of the movie. I know it's something about another asteroid vs. the earth movie. Meh. Instead, I found myself right near Michigan Central Depot (where they filmed part of the
Transformers and
The Island movies). So I stopped and took pictures.
I found a road behind the building and started driving back there. I couldn't see where it ended until I got there. Fenced in abandoned security. Oops.
It was only wide enough for one vehicle. I couldn't turn around and I was afraid of damaging my car if I tried driving over to the other road next to it to go back, so I had to reverse all the way back to the parking lot.
The back of the building:
The side:
I would like to have gone inside, but it is surrounded by a fence and I was alone and not very courageous. Maybe some day I will get inside.
