Being blocked from LJ is extremely annoying.
Anyway ... the falling flower (usually cherry blossoms) imagery used for Souji in PMK fics have been beaten and flogged to death already (not least by me) but no matter how many times it is used, I am still touched by the fleetingness of life that the imagery invokes.
I heard this song on radio earlier while studying and I find it such an apt song to describe Hijikata's feelings after Souji leaves dies. I may write a fic based on this after my exams but I wonder if I can come up with something new and interesting.
