(no subject)
jesus i am glad i have a profession because i am pretty sure i could not cope in the GRIND of hospitality or some other hard, physically laborious, monotonous task.
i was in a fury last night (at no one in particular) because it was fucking 10 o'clock before i got out of there. i know they're understaffed so i can't bitch about it too much... just that, UGH. let's just say i am glad there's only 1 more night + 1 day of it. i am coming back in 2 weeks but it'll be better as there will be a lot more staff & i should have at least 1 kitchenhand. thank god!
i did tell the coordinator that i was "a bit pissed off" because of "all the cleaning!" hahaha. hope she doesn't take it personally and i'll be fine today as i'm just working the night.
temperature is GORGEOUS today. the cold front-ish type thing came thru yesterday & the temp dropped dramatically in the afternoon. it was delightful. so the night was a tad chilly (tho i didn't feel it as i was sweating like a fucking pig!). big change after the searing temperatures we've had lately.
a gorgeous little kid last night says to me, "you're a good cooker!" which was hell sweet! i love the kids here, they're really personable & friendly. i've been thinking a lot about it actually, but i'll devote a post to it later.

haven't seen taz since sunday, but i'm sure he's surviving.
got saddle fitter today! yay. i'm excited. haven't ridden my horse since early dec so we'll see...
also need to pick poo which i haven't done for several days...
