Engagement rings...mine's very small and FLAT and I picked it out myself and a lot of people ask me what stone is in it because it's small enough you can't really tell it's a diamond until you're up close. But I love it because it DOESN'T stick out and catch on things or pick up bits of dirt and it doesn't get caught on anything either. Thank God. But your ring is GORGEOUS!!! and I think it looks beautiful on you. I went through a few weeks of smiling everytime I saw it out of the corner of my eye...when I was taking down dishes...or typing on the computer...I would just see it and smile. Are you going through that?

I wear my ring for "playing" with the horses, but not for riding lessons or trail riding, or for mixing wet feeds...ewww copra ring!! hehe. Not sure why I feel it is safe to wear it grooming and poo picking but not safe to ride in, but I'm a bit silly like that. Mostly because I can't wear gloves when I am wearing it, sticks up too much. Wedding ring MUST be flat for that reason I think.
I want to meet Tazzie! I may be riding a pony at the 2nd chance day if things go to plan so I might see you there, hopefully!! Sounds like things with Beej are still making life interesting though, damn red heads!
i've worn it riding 3x so far. i wear crochet gloves (they're so awesome & so near death... will cry when they finally give up) with leather palms & they're fine. i don't even notice it on so far. it sticks up quite a lot, but i think i'm going to just wear it all the time.
