Holidays are Nearing!

Why does it feel like time has sped up? Maybe December is just feeling more busy this year than other years. I finally finished my online reading course yesterday, and I thought that would help me feel accomplished and like I could cross something off of my "to do list", but it has just made me more stressed....maybe because now I am noticing all of the things I put off to get my course done!!

Plus our house is such a disaster right now! We are in the process of switching the girl's rooms around so Sophie will have her own room and Chloe and Finley will be together. So far we have painted Sophie's room and set up her bed in there. I have gone through toys and come up with 5 full garbage bags of toys to give away. And that is only the beginning!! I also have a bag of clothes to give to our niece and one for Value Village. I still have to finish going through all of the stuff and move some furniture around, as well as move clothes. Plus we still have to paint Chloe's and Finley's room! We need to have all of this done by Christmas Day when we host a family gathering at our place. Oh, and did I mention that the only Christmas shopping I've done is buy one gift for each of the kids? Eeeks!! And the Christmas parties have already started.....which tends to cut productivity quite a bit!! ;)

I guess the gym is now taking up a lot of my time too, since I've made myself the commitment to go there every day and run and work out, or at least run 5 kms most days. It is good for me and I'm now finally seeing results after a month. I am enjoying it too, but it just takes up a lot of time with going there, doing my workout and then coming home and showering. For some reason it feels like a huge chunk of every day. But I am not going to let "time" be my excuse for not going to the gym anymore!! So if I have stuff to do during the day I go first thing in the morning. I do feel like I'm half awake today, but I'll catch up tonight I hope!!

Now to go tackle the lunch dishes and then move some furniture!!
