So my search for good Chinese takeout in my immediate neighborhood is over. I just got some Mongolian beef from "Red Pepper," and I'm very happy. First off, it was cheap, thanks to whoever invented the "lunch special." Secondly, it was a generous portion, and included plenty of rice. Brown rice, even! It also came with a pork egg roll (I don't really like egg rolls, and I stay away from pork except for bacon) and a Crab Rangoon (?) which was sort of weirdly sweet, but good enough to wind up inside my body. Furthermore, it came with everything you could possibly need for a meal--a plastic fork, a paper nifkin, and a packet apiece of soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce, and mustard. I mean, what else could you need to get food to stop being outside of you and start being inside of you? Fourth, the fortune cookie was fresh-fresh, having come only as far as stone mountain. It even told me "Without passion, man is a mere possibility," which is practically custom-made for the "in bed"/"in my pants" fortune cookie game.
Also, my apartment is all kinds of clean, and it is just easier to be in here now. Oh, and I paid my cell phone bill. Oh, and my landlord *finally* cashed my rent check, so I don't have a several-hundred debit ready to drop without notice any more.
