so I guess I'm basically drinking beer and watching PBS. But I'm getting magical free internet through my window, so I feel as though updating my lj is the thing to do.

Man, I should send these public tv people a check.

On the way into work today, I saw a truck with a bumper sticker on it. Well, I guess it had a large number of bumper stickers. But the one that really caught my eye said:

Keep America Free

dear lord I don't even know what to do with that.

So Clyde finally broke down and bought an xbox. I approve of that. We played a bunch of video games, which I haven't done in quite a while.

Well, I'm pretty much caught up on everything that I have to do here, but I can't just dip out. I guess I could probably go over some stuff and...I don't know...check it. So I moved today. I am now living upstairs and on the other side of the house. I even had the plumber over to fix the kitchen (urgent bulletin from a guy on Clairemont: "Wooooo!") faucet because it refused to stop spouting hot water. Grey cat is in my living room as I type this. She'd been gone for quite a while, apparently living outside. She's back now, though, and stalking around my apartment.
