Happy Decemberween!!
Just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy holidays. It was almost a year ago that I vanished into the maw of World of Warcraft, and for anyone still around after that vanishing act, well.....greetings and salutations!! lol
Uhm, let's see. My current project ingame is a pair of twin rogues named Sinistrah and Dexterah (Sinistri and Dextri....get it? lol). I'm Sinistrah, and Julia is playing Dexterah. Now I gotta tell you, our rogues are SICK. I'm talking about us completely demolishing people 6 levels above us in Warsong Gulch (that's the capture the flag arena). It's been alot of hard work though; Julia and I have been putting in alot of hours, and quite a few nights, getting our rogues souped up with some insane gear and tradeskills. The current plan is to have some crazy rare gear, complete with ridiculous enchants, by level 29, and to just stay there; we're going to be godly at 29 so we don't have to worry about the impossible grind to become godly at 60.
This isn't bragging, just a status report of sorts. Uhm, Julia and I are still together, and everything is actually going along pretty well. Julia has been wonderfully tolerant of my rare episodic expressions of frustration, and I've done my level best to learn from myself and from her to try and keep things going along as smoothly as possible. I very much doubt the relationship would have lasted even less than half as long if it weren't for the fact that we complement each other very well; Julia once put it best when she said that we are both very private people; we're highly introverted and not especially sociable. Not because we're anti-social mind you; I smile whenever I see someone I haven't seen in the longest time, and I get excited when I ask people how they've been and what they've been up to and whatnot. But we both largely spend our time playing online; we don't go out and actively seek the company of other people. I don't think there's anything wrong with that; it's just a way of being
If anyone ever ends up in my little corner of the world in WoW, give me a holler. I'm on the Shadowmoon server, and I'll be either on Binah, Shazzrah, Sinistrah, or Tipheret. I can't guarantee that we'll be able to hang out, but we can at least chat. =)
