---[40 - FRIDAY]

HeeChul woke up the next morning and as usual, he prepared breakfast and woke Chin-Sun up for school.

But this morning, he got a text message. His phone didn't know the number and so, HeeChul guessed it was from SiWon. HeeChul made a mental note to safe his new number as soon as he had time.

HeeChul opened it and he couldn't stop himself from smiling when he read it.

'Chullie, hope you aren't mad at me anymore. I was happily surprised to see you yesterday. Thanks. Love you.'

HeeChul's heart was beating faster. So SiWon still loved him and he still loved SiWon.

HeeChul took his daughter's hand and brought her to school. She waved at him before she ran off to her two best friends, Kilian and Hana who were waiting.

HeeChul looked after her before he turned and went to the grocery market to buy some necessary things.

He brought it home and then spent the time with cooking dinner.

When it was time, he picked Chin-Sun up and headed with her home. There, they ate together.

"Appa, I miss your husband. Is he still your husband?" the little girl asked and HeeChul sighed at the memory from back then when Chin-Sun had called SiWon 'HeeChul's husband'.

"We're going to see him now," HeeChul announced and stood up.

Chin-Sun jumped up as well. "What?" she asked in surprise with a bright smile on her face.

HeeChul nodded and Chin-Sun started to grin happily.

HeeChul went for his and Chin-Sun's jacket and then they got ready to leave.

HeeChul's heart was beating faster the closer they came towards SiWon's parents' home.

The car was packed with boxes and SiWon was standing outside with his mother.

His father was coming out as well. SiWon's parents glared at HeeChul when he greeted them with a friendly "Hello."

SiWon smiled happily. "Hey. How are you two?" he asked and HeeChul smiled a small smile. "Fine, right, Chin-Sunnie?" he asked and his daughter nodded.

SiWon grinned even more. "I'm glad you came."

HeeChul only nodded.

"Bye, then, Umma and Appa," SiWon said and hugged his parents.

"SiWon, we really don't like your decision. We won't support you any longer if you keep being so stubborn," his mother scolded him.

"My son, what is the point of this? Come with your parents. We'll give you the money you need. Then you can study or keep on working. Whatever you want," his father added but SiWon shook his head. "No, Umma, Appa, I love you both, but please understand me. At least accept it. You don't have to support me," SiWon stated and his parents sighed and got into the car.

SiWon came closer to take HeeChul's hand. He was a little bit afraid of his reaction though.

At first, HeeChul thought of pulling his hand away but he didn't do so when SiWon's grip tightened.

HeeChul stared at SiWon in surprise. He wasn't going to leave with them? What was his decision then, he wondered.

SiWon waved at his parents with his free hand and Chin-Sun, like the cute kid she was, waved at them as well with a big smile.

HeeChul just stared blankly at the car that was slowly leaving.

He then turned towards SiWon, not knowing what to do.

"...Ch...Chullie?" SiWon asked in concern. His heart beat faster. He was worried when he saw HeeChul's unreadable expression. He didn't know how HeeChul would react.

Chin-Sun stood next to them, just watching.

"I'm sorry," SiWon murmured. He blamed himself for being that stubborn before and now, HeeChul was like this.

"So you aren't leaving?" HeeChul asked him carefully.

SiWon nodded. "I hoped I could stay with you," he murmured in uncertainity. He was scared of what HeeChul would do now but HeeChul wasn't mad. He never was and so he asked with a small smile. "From now on, you really will stay with us?"

SiWon nodded with a smile. "If it's okay for you," he said and Chin-Sun immediately nodded, tugging at HeeChul's arm and going towards SiWon to take his free hand as well, before jumping up and down.

"Yes, yes, yes!" the little girl exclaimed happily and tried to hug both of them.

HeeChul smiled at him. "Let's talk later, okay?" he suggested at seeing SiWon looking still a little bit awkward.

SiWon nodded then and lifted Chin-Sun up in his arms before hugging HeeChul. Chin-Sun giggled happily and wrapped her arms around SiWon's and HeeChul's neck.

They were all smiling happily when they headed home.

HeeChul opened the door to their apartment and SiWon smiled even more at seeing Chin-Sun running of to her room with a big grin.

"I missed this. I missed you," SiWon eventually stated and took a step closer towards HeeChul.

HeeChul backed away at first, but seeing SiWon's sad expression, he stretched his arms and let SiWon embrace him tightly. He smiled into his shoulder when he felt SiWon's hand rubbing his back lovingly.

HeeChul just tried to press their bodies even tighter together and rested his chin on SiWon's shoulder, closing his eyes because only they were important that very second.

"I love you, Chullie," SiWon murmured into the other's ear and HeeChul couldn't help but smile even more even though he didn't say anything back. He still wanted his explanation in the evening.

"Appa, you have to say hello to Kitty as well!" Chin-Sun suddenly shouted, running back into the living room with her stuffed cat in her hand.

HeeChul and SiWon laughed but SiWon kneeled down, put his arm around Chin-Sun and with his free hand, he petted the stuffed animal's head.

"Hi, Kitty. I'm sorry I wasn't here before. But now, I'll stay, okay?" SiWon said with a loving smile and Chin-Sun nodded for the cat.

"That's okay," she stated then and SiWon laughed even more and then kissed her cheek.

"Chin-Sunnie, Appa and Umma have to talk, and it's getting late, so I'll prepare dinner now and you change into your pajamas, okay?" HeeChul told her and she sighed but nodded.

SiWon stood up and HeeChul went to the kitchen to make them something quickly.

SiWon watched him carefully and then came closer to hug him, carefully caressing HeeChul's stomach.

"If it's okay for you, we will meet my friends tomorrow. YeSung is in town and I want them to know that you are pregnant, Chullie," SiWon announced.

"Slow down, Mister. Let's talk about everything first when Chin-Sunnie is in bed. Afterwards, we'll see," HeeChul told him and SiWon nodded in agreement and kissed HeeChul's cheek briefly.

A minute later, Chin-Sun came running towards them with her stuffed animal in tow and already dressed in her pajamas, just like HeeChul had told her.

"Appa, Umma, I'm ready," she announced and SiWon sat down on a chair, letting Chin-Sun sit on his lap.

HeeChul looked at them and he smiled. It was so good to see these two people together like this. It made him very happy.

He put the food on their plates and took them to the table.

Chin-Sun jumped down from SiWon's lap and climbed on her own chair, before they all started to eat dinner.

"Hm, yummy," Chin-Sun stated with a big grin and HeeChul chuckled and looked at SiWon for his opinion.

SiWon smirked. "Indeed, delicious," he said with a wink and HeeChul blushed.

He didn't even know why he blushed for his face usually wouldn't heat up for something minor like this but he couldn't help it.

"Appa, Umma, I'm not tired," Chin-Sun announced when HeeChul wanted to send her to bed.

"You are still young," HeeChul told her.

Chin-Sun pouted. "But Umma, I'm really not tired. And tomorrow is Saturday, so no school," she remembered him, but HeeChul remained stubborn. "Go to bed, Chin-Sunnie. Appa and Umma have to talk about some things now," HeeChul told her.

"Appa," she whined and turned to SiWon after realizing that HeeChul wouldn't let her stay.

SiWon only nodded with an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, Chin-Sun, but you have to listen to your...Umma." He hestiated with the last word because he still didn't think of himself as her Appa after HeeChul had made sure to call Chin-Sun his own daughter only.

Chin-Sun pouted even more but got up, gave each of them a kiss and then left with Kitty.

SiWon looked after her while HeeChul stood up to clean the dishes.

SiWon watched him. He wanted to help but somehow didn't dare because HeeChul probably would get angry. He just couldn't understand it himself for HeeChul almost never gets angry anyway. But since he had been away, HeeChul had become so unpredictable for him.

As soon as HeeChul was finished, he turned towards SiWon. "Let's sit on the couch," he suggested and SiWon agreed.

They sat down but suddenly seemed to feel so distant and awkward with each other once again.

"So? ...Why have you been away for so long?" HeeChul asked him finally.

"Because my parents wanted to move back to our old city. They tried to convince me to come with them. I didn't want to make them angry, so I politely declined but stayed with them and helped them. I wanted to show them that I loved them with staying with them for the time that was still left. And today, I wanted them to see that you are a good person and you even came to say goodbye to them," SiWon explained.

"But why haven't you told me before?" HeeChul wanted to know with a pout.

SiWon chuckled at seeing his boyfriend's cute expression. "I told you already I lost my phone and I couldn't get a new one immediately. I'm sorry. And I also couldn't go over to you or anything because my parents would find out," he said and HeeChul sighed. It was all his own fault. SiWon's parents hated him. That was also the reason why SiWon could spent some time with LeeTeuk. His parents liked LeeTeuk.

"So it's because of me...," HeeChul murmured sadly. "SiWon, you can just leave me. I mean, I don't want to make your parents even more angry. Look, they seem to like all your other friends except of me. Maybe they are right and we aren't meant to be," he stated.

"Don't blame yourself. You are perfect. They just like my other friends because they are just my friends. No one of them is my lover. I love you, Chullie, more than anything. I know, for you, your daughter is more important, but please accept me. Let me take care of you just how I promised back then when we first got together. Do you remember?" SiWon asked with a small smile.

HeeChul slowly nodded. "I do."

"Then let's stay together. It doesn't matter what my parents say. Because I am sure that we're meant to be," SiWon explained with a reassuring smile.

HeeChul sighed and eventually leant his head against SiWon's chest. "I love you, too, SiWonnie. And I missed you so much," HeeChul admitted.

SiWon grinned even more and his hand pulled HeeChul's shirt up to caress the skin there.

"This is ours, right?" SiWon asked finally and HeeChul nodded against him. "Yes, ours," he murmured back, enjoying the feeling of SiWon's soft fingers.

"And we are a family now, so it's our Chin-Sunnie, alright? My SiWonnie?" HeeChul asked with a smile on his face and SiWon nodded happily.

"So, have you already seen the doctor for a check-up?" SiWon then asked after a long silence of just enjoying each other's warm touches.

"Yes. I'm fine," HeeChul answered and SiWon nodded in relief. "I'm quite worried for you, but you'll do well, right?" SiWon asked him in concern and HeeChul turned his head to look up. "SiWonnie," he spoke softly and climbed further up to kiss him gently. "Of course," he replied and they kissed once again.

Later in the evening, after some more kissing and touching, they finally stood up to go to bed where they continued to kiss each other softly.

"Finally, you are back. You don't know how much I missed you. This bed was so empty without you," HeeChul admitted sadly but smiled again when SiWon bent towards him for another sweet kiss.
