I'm you telling you friend, this is something worth fighting for
I just got home from work.
They called me in.
On my day off.
It's cool though. They gave me a 6-hour shift. The 6-hour shift is the holiest of all shifts. Why? Because it's awesome. Why is it awesome? Because it offers the most breaks for hours worked. If you work 6 hours, you get 2 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch, as opposed to 1 15-minute break if you only work 5.75 hours. This means I get a break every 75 minutes. It's awesome. This brings my hours for this week (plus vacation pay on my lone day--Thursday) to about 47. This will be one hell of a paycheck. I'm excited. My last day is two weeks from tomorrow. I work 1-9 tomorrow and 2-9 Wednesday before going down to see Oblio on Thursday. =]
I made Annie's with Morning Star patties and a boat load of garlic for lunch and dinner today. Sooo good. I ate both meals with the large wooden spoon I made it with. Even cooler. Om nom nom.
