Poker Night
Well tonight was poker night and we went to Dee's place to play with some actual money since he just got chips today. While we were waiting for more people to show up, we started playing a game called Asshole, Kings and Peasants, President or any other array of names and it was quite fun. I was president for a while so I guess I enjoyed it more. Then we started playing poker with 5 out of the 7 people that were supposed to come. I started off strong but then a friend came up and pretty much wiped me clean. I was second in the running for a looong time and eventually he had to go so he collected his pot, 42 reais which is a measley $15.50 but the again he only started with 10 reais or $3.69 so it was a pretty good win. I walked out with 23 when I put in 10. There were also a few less fortunate that lost some of their money. Oh well. It was fun win or lose and hopefully we'll have something better to do in the upcomming days.
