Historical Mapping
As I've said I've been trying to make more historical maps (as in historical science, not old-looking maps). This here is my newest work. I was going for a simple, but elegant effect like from the Fischer Weltalmanach or the CIA World Fact Book and I hope I achieved that.
The subject matter might be a bit obscure, but certainly not uninteresting. The Baltic Lands were one of the last pagan areas of Europe and this is the time before the Teutonic and Livonian Orders started waging war against the autochtonous inhabitants.
