You know, normally i am a sucker for an unhappy ending. Really, i adore unhappy ending. If a love story ends in death or a break up, i just eat that shit up. I very rarely find a couple that i want to have a happy ending and ride off into the sunset together. Tara's death in BtVS? LOVE it! The break up of McDean, the death of John Paul's fiance (can't remember his name, sorry), great storyline! I LOVE unhappy endings, but this! THIS!? OH MY GOD! This i HATE! HATE!
I'm holding out hope that they'll fix it somehow in the 5th episode, and if they don't i seriously am quitting Torchwood. I mean, Tosh and Owen were bad enough, but not Ianto! Come on! That's just not fricking fair!
I wasn't expecting anyone to die this time around, i wanted the two couples to live happily ever after. Jack with Ianto, Gwen with Rhys. Those are my top two OTPs. I didn't think RTD could be so evil, really this is like Joss evil! I thought RTD was better than that, it's just not fair! *sobs*
