Supplements, supplements

Thanks for the positive comments on the previous post. :)

I've been hiding out at my mom's for a couple days because it's been so beautiful and I love her woodsy property. I am just now getting online to check all my particulars. My mom has been a great help as she has pretty bad adrenal dysfunction, so she knows alot about how I'm feeling.

I started taking L-Tyrosine twice daily which is awesome stuff if you care to read up on it. I'm also taking 3,000 mg of Vitamin C daily, and it has really seemed to keep me more balanced these last 2 days (Adrenal Fatigued people are recommended to take between 3,000-8,000mg of Vit. C a day--holy cow!). I'm going to be taking a Chromax supplement once a day to help my blood sugar levels stay more even keel when I eat. I will also take some adrenal support supplements for a couple months. Phew! I always had a hard time just remembering birth control...this is going to be a hard discipline for me to do.

I am also supposed to eat in small increments all day and not go long without eating, which is hard when you get busy or just don't have an appetite because your love affair with food has diminished greatly.

If my thyroid is underactive (which is likely) I might have to take stuff for that too for awhile. But the good thing is if that is the case, that will explain my unexplained weight gain and hopefully take care of some of it.

I've also started a diet journal so I can remember which foods bother me because I can't usually remember for some reason (guess what? really foggy memory is a symptom of adrenal fatigue, thyroid imbalance, and hypoglycemia).

Anyway, that's my update. Mega doses of Vitamin C are my new best friend.
