Sooo.....it's been a while since I've posted anything. Figured I should get back on the bandwagon=)

To update the world...

1) I have a concert tomorrow night (aka Thursday...and don't get technical w/me on dates...) where I'm conducting a piece. Simple enough...but part of me is scared, and part of me doesn't care at all. Part of me doesn't even have

Laura and I have talked about perhaps having a end-of-school/katie-and-cat-are-leaving-for-a-while/yay-it's-a-house! party the weekend of May 16-17. School is out by then, and Laura will be back from her editor's day (though I have to go to ULs graduation on the 17th). Laura has expressed that she wants to hold her bday celebration after her actual day, though, so that means TWO parties!

The other possibility is the weekend of the 23-24. That one *might* be better, because there's a very good chance I will no longer be working weekends by that point :D

Weekend of the 23, I'll be leaving, and I don't get back till the 4th of June. I really only have the 8-9 and 16-17 free, and I'd like one of those to be "free" (plus, I'd feel bad saying to GameStop, "I'm good to work now! But I need off for the next four weekends."

The weekend before summer school (around the 6th) I will probably be doing course planning with Doris and David (fellow TA's)--that doesn't mean that weekend is totally out of the question, but it complicates things a bit, especially if we're doing stuff on Saturday and Sunday (which I'd assume we are). And again, that falls into the 4+ weekends off in a row. And the weekend after that is the baby's due date. BABY. OMG.

So there we go. I complicate and limit things.

Laura's editors day is the 7-8, so she won't be here, and I have finals due then anyway. So yeah...I guess it's the 16-17 then. Ask off now!

(also, going to ask jennifer about my work over the summer. if i can get a 100% confirmation by the 1st about me working there, i will put in my 2 weeks then, and BAM, the 16th will be my first offical day no longer employeed at the grand!)
