(no subject)
Ok, so I APPARENTLY didn't think it through as far as the planning of the party....
TOTALLY forgot Cat and Megan were leaving to go see Wicked that weekend...oops=)
SO the Birthday plans have evolved…again…again.
This is now the current plan. I would like to do it on April 4th (aka the Saturday before my birthday). I may technically have plans with my Dad that DAY, but we should be done by 6 pm. That way Katie has time to work (and everyone else) has a chance to get their things done for the day (like going buy my present last minute…*glare*). I still have to solidify a place (since it may be highly likely that we actually have the party in Lafayette!), but if my Dad doesn’t do the crawfish boil until my birthday then we can still do it in Baton Rouge. We’ll see how that pans out and let you all know. If we do it in Lafayette, though, I’m actually opting to do it at Katie/Laura’s new place (if they let, of course…Katie said it was OK, but I haven’t passed it by Laura yet. Sorry!). If there are any concerns PLEASE let me know ASAP so I don’t try and plan a party only to have someone not be able to come and forgot to tell me…that’d just make me (and everyone else) sad…and you don’t want THAT, do you? =)
IF this works out and we do this in Baton Rouge, I’d like to tweak our normal plans a little bit…
I'd like to have the regulars (yes, you guys are regulars=) Over on Friday and we have our usual fun: games, watchy-things, chatting around, and a sleepover.
On Saturday I would like to invite Seth and Randy to join the fun. I think (personally) that'd be odd to have them here the whole time (no offense to them, by any means...its more for you guys' sake then mine - however if you all want them here overnight that’s fine with me: we can do a guy’s room and a girls’ room sleepover thing...we’ll work it out). We could do lunch then go back to the house and have a grand ole time. We can close plans whenever you like...but I'd prefer something around the evening-ish if that's ok for all (that'll give you all time to get home and relax for Easter).
SOOO...(Round 2...) Lemme know what you think. Yes? Cool. If not? Then I'll have to replan again (probably for something at the end of the semester, aka. Week 2 of May. OR at the end of March...aka 2 weeks from now, the 28th). PLEASE lemme know ASAP...it'll save us ALL some stress.

Also, I've been Boggling my brain for gift ideas this time...and I'm at my Wit's End on this one. I would listen to Music to calm me down (even some NEW music!…), but I don't think I have a good Case for doing so (unless it's some kind of escapism, lol). Maybe I'm just really Board...that happens. I should have a Martini...or something like it...maybe they can make a smaller Martini...with different flavors...*shrugs*. Maybe I should find something deceptive and intriguing to amuse me…something where you have to Guess/Gesture...or something where you Draw...Or maybe something where you have to really be Articulate...I dunno: makes me wish I was bestowed with more Wiz-Dumb (lol).
Wow…this just sounds like a Rigmarole at this point. Maybe I should just focus my thinking a little more. I could Raid my brain from Multiple angles and try to figure something out. I’ll see how that Plays out…Sounds good. I’ll call it the Ackbar - Llama Invasion Project! Sounds GREAT, hahah!
…or I could just shoot myself in the head. That’d Play out much better.
BTW, have fun with the above paragraphs. As cheeky and stupid as it sounds, that’s my Birthday Gift List to you! All my gift ideas are hidden: find them and you have ideas! (I thought it was too easy to just tell you…that and this sounded REALLY fun=).
