Aspertame. I fucking hate aspertame. It is one of the worst tasting things I've ever had. If that wasn't bad enough, it leaves a foul, foul taste in my mouth. It's not sweet, it's just fucking lame.
Why am I bitching about this? Well I picked up some of the Sam's Choice Clear American Key Lime drink. It's supposed to be carbonated water with lime flavoring. I didn't expect sugar or corn syrup to be in it, I sure as hell didn't expect aspertame. So I bring it home and notice the lime flavor was really lacking. I took a couple more drinks and then decided to look at the ingredients. Why did I wait until now? Well like I said, I didn't expect it to contain something so evil but I just keep tasting this lame attempt at sweetness. So I read off the ingredients and found aspertame. It took a second to register in my mind.
Argh! I need to go find something to counteract this lame, lame taste.
