Icarus smiled into the sun. He was sitting on the railing of a balcony (not his own) and enjoying the warming weather. It was still chilly enough for long sleeves, but the sun felt good on his face and he opened his wings a bit to catch more of the sun's heat ( Read more... )

Marguerite is taking a turn outside, circling the Mansion to keep on well-flattened snow and out of harm's way. She glances up toward the sky and sees Iggy out of the corner of her eye. With a delighted laugh, she waves to him and calls, "Icarus!"

Iggy tilts his head at the sound of his name. Only a few people here called him that...

Waving, he grins and calls back. "Hey!" Opening his wings to their full span, Icarus leans forward and glides to the ground. His wings folding up neatly behind him, he turns towards her.

"How are you?"

She watches his flight with some anxiety, but then smiles to herself in relief as he lands. "I am well, dear boy. You look to be doing much better yourself."

"I should apologize for dragging you all over the Mansion the other day. I wasn't quite myself." She colors just a little, her hands going to her cheeks.

[Typist is slooooow.]

Iggy winces, his own cheeks warming as he brings a hand to the back of his neck. "No, no. I should apologize. I think we were both a bit ... off then." He wonders how much she remembers...

God, that whole day had been insane. He'd even been avoiding Phedre because of it.

"You were quite a gentleman to me." And the blush is cute too, though she'd never say that to ruffle his young dignity.

He smiles a bit, still embarrassed. "Still. Toting me around can't have been very pleasent for you."

"Toting you? I don't recall that being the case at all."

"Really?" He sort of thought that he'd been a pain to her.

"Why do you doubt that?"

"Well, I guess... cause I usually am a pain?" He smiles though.

"Perish the thought! You are not so to me." She reaches to pat his hand.

He flinches when she touches him, but smiles anyway and doesn't pull back.

"Thanks. That ... That's really nice."

"For all that it is still cold, tis a fine day today. What are you doing with yourself?" she asks cheerfully. She has in mind to invite him for a stroll, perhaps.

"Not much. I was enjoying the sun being out and thought about taking a tip over the forest again." A stroll sounds nice. How does a flight sound?

"Over the forest?" she asks, her tone hopeful. Oh, Margot will not presume, but she can hope, can't she?

"Yeah." He doesn't miss the hope there. "Nothing quite beats the feeling of being in the air." And he remembers his promise.

"Um... would you like to come?"
