I fail at updates. This is a terrible crime since OMG BOOSH LIVE LAST FRIDAY. Though to be honest most of you have seen it/are going to see it so there's not a lot of point talking about that. Except that I took woolly Howard and Vince with me, and they were much admired by a girl in the row in front of us. Sadly we didn't get to actually introduce the boys to their knitted counterparts because I had to drive home and didn't want to hang around the stage door for hoooours with millions of screaming fans. And I can't take them to the Bournemouth show because there wasn't room in my luggage to bring them back from Leicester. Never mind though, it's the thought that counts. And It wouldn't be easy to juggle the dolls AND a QI-style elephant-on-a-stick.
I've suddenly found myself with time on my hands, since I handed in my Film essay yesterday and I don't have another one due for four weeks. I meant to go to Asda today but the buses are all screwed up, so I'll go on Friday instead, and try to befriend a fish monger at the same time. Also planning to get MIRRORBALL SHOES :D :D :D
www.office.co.uk/womens/converse/all_star_low/20/576/12395/1 LOOK AT THE BEAUTY. Converse but with silver sequins - I've been waiting for these shoes. Especially as my favourite purple ones are falling to bits. And the best part is that I might actually be able to afford them, because it's my birthday on Monday and I'll have monies for that. So as long as I don't overspend over the next two weeks, I can has new shoes and a train ticket home on the 21st.
That will be the most amazing week. Even more amazing perhaps than my birthday week last year, and that was absolutely flippin' brilliant. I believe last year I had both the Boosh series 3 first episode airing (crikey, was that a year ago??) on the Thursday and then birthday/birthday dinner on the Saturday. This year I have birthday on the Monday, Boosh live on the Thursday and then hometimes on the Friday. Including possible birthday celebrations on the Saturday night(?).
Though really I'm not that fussed about my birthday this year, other that SHOE MONEY. Though it'll still be nice, as always :) Brought a couple of pressies for opening on the day back with me, have a few more for the weekend back. Shoes will be an early birthday present. Anton also already bought me a birthday jumper (which I'm wearing now) to add to my Colourful Winter Jumper collection. Goodtimes.
I pretty much have the rest of today free, which is nice. I have laundry to do, but I'm not going to do that until about six-thirty/seven-ish because hopefully by that time the laundry room will be a bit more free than it is in the middle of the day. Even that's not urgent; I've got enough clothes to last me a couple of days if need be. I'm accidentally organised, for once. So I'm going to spend a few hours actually doing some writing, then maybe alter the waist of my new skirt. Dinner will also feature at some point.
