I truly feel that life must be a lot easier for anyone who's a natural lark. At university I had a friend who got up at 6am every day, just because that was when she liked to get up. My natural sleep rhythm wants me to go to bed somewhere between 1 and 2 am and get up after 10 in the morning. Suits me to a tee in the holidays, but boy does that make working weeks hard.
Essentially: fuck you, circadian rhythm. Why do you have to run long, and not run to a normal 24 hours like everyone else's*? Do you know how much more productive I'd be?
*For everyone that doesn't have a geeky fascination with sleep psychology@ the majority of extreme owls' personal circadian rhythm tend to run slightly longer than 24 hours. Mine definitely does, so I end up going to bed later and later and getting up later and later if I'm allowed.
