Up above it all

I have a teensy little question, is this a generation thing? Always wanting to know what to do, what this job is for, why we cross paths with all sorts of people---what all these small, insignificant baby steps eventually lead to?

BECAUSE I AM FLOATING IN A SEA OF RIDDLES, wondering about all the little things. Not in a sarcastic, negative way. Just. a. tad. bit. curious.

Live curious indeed.

They say things happen for a reason, I just--DONT KNOW WHATEVER THE CRUD IT IS. Then again, it would ruin the whole mystery behind things, wouldnt it? If we meet someone and have the reason you met tattooed on her forehead (lets have her say, "you need me to teach you that work is not a game where you can play around and call for a time out when you're feeling, how-do-you-say-this, sabaw? What is sabaw anyhow? " (boss rambles on, wondering what sabaw means exactly).

Or have each email message attached with a subtitle, read: You need this message to teach you that an executive secretary is a deity that needs to be spoken to with utmost respect (even beyond that of her boss) and gratitude, for doing things for you (however little). She is not just administrative staff. HEED THIS WARNING, you naive little college graduate.

Or have that one person with a placard that reads You met me because... (reason fades into a blur, since there are quite a number of characters in my story whom I have no clue as to why we somehow have gotten stuck together. No hidden message here, I'm just stating the obvious, that somehow you meet people along the way and at some point in time, though you will always wonder why you bumped into them along the way---at a certain point, you realize it doesn't really matter.

Because you discover that YOU ARE NO GENIUS SO STOP TRYING TO SWALLOW TOO MUCH ON YOUR PLATE RIGHT NOW. Sheesh Deej, take a breather :)

(I was trying to think of some profound statement but decided to step back and just laugh it off. That's what I've been doing lately, laughing things off. Try it, it makes things so much better.)

Soupy brains on a Monday afternoon.
