You get exactly what you want, what you've been working for for a long time now, and while you're in the process of getting it you figure out that you don't know what to do with it? This happened to me recently and I find it to be incredibly unnerving.
So, I got the promotion. I'm pretty sure everybody already knows this but, for those who don't, I'm stating it here. I am now a treasurer at the Coliseum. I make more money than before and I work WAY longer hours - as in, twice as many. The best thing about it, I think, is the fact that I am now almost constantly in the presence of managers which means that Sean no longer harasses me as much.
Speaking of Sean, I think he's actually a bit delusional. I couldn't tell before but now I'm almost certain of it. Last night, a bunch of employees all went out bowling for charity. Sean and a couple of other managers were the organizers of this event. He was acting sort of strange for the whole night and I couldn't figure out why. First he insisted that I be on his team, then he started sort of acting like it was a date for us or something. Its kind of hard to explain but for the most part he never left my side except to offer to get me a drink or something else like that. He kept on calling me sweetie and even, as lame as it sounds, tried instructing me on how to bowl (as if I didn't know!). At one point he started to rub my back, and thats where I just freaked out and told him off. For the rest of the night I hung out with some of the other managers or other friends of mine who happened to be there. Needless to say, ew ew McGross.
