recently, God's been challenging me to read more books and articles. if i'm living in a world with ppl whom God loves, how can i be unaware and apathetic on what is going around me? the more i read about modern slavery, the more i see the world through His eyes. and the more i see God's heart for people, the less i value my own wants and needs.

God convicted me of the same thing at urbana -- in terms of how i manage my finances. God gives me a lot of financial wealth, but what do i spend it for? when He showed me the images of people living with AIDS/HIV, all that money i spend on things... i could save and use for the greater good. quite humbling, and you know, we can do a lot, with all that we have. :) keep praying! God will show you ways in which you can use your resources to bless those who need it!
