Last night, I was reminded of a scene from the summer of tenth grade. On a mission trip that I was on, I told a first grader that once she accepted Jesus into her life, He would "never leave nor forsake her." Her eyes widened, and with an astonished look on her face, she excitedly asked me, "Really? Jesus will never leave me?" I told her yes.
She accepted Christ that day.
Thank You, God, for reminding me what I am working for, and for refreshing my soul.
