Although I did not necessarily expect much from Barack Obama ("Hope? Change? We'll see..."), he turns out to be too much the same as other presidents. I realise his health care reform plan was better than what we ended up with. Though cynical me does wonder what his intended outcome was to begin with.

But he's still owned by big business, and has, for example, put an ex-Monsanto exec. onto the FDA (former Monsanto VP and head lobbyist Michael Taylor as Deputy Commissioner for the FDA, appointed in 2009).

Democrats and Republicans - worse and worser.

I am thinking it is time to start voting for someone else. Time to seriously start researching the other candidates. No, none of them will win. But something like that will not happen all at once. If, however, they start receiving higher proportions of the votes, people will notice. And it could be the start of real change.

Before it's too late?
