Get out my way I'm coming through!

Then dude like out of the blue I hear this beep... beep... beep... beep... As if it was blowing its car horn from a 1970’s Datsun as if to tell everything else to get the hell out of the way and then it just disappeared into the darkness.

About 30 seconds that’s how long it was on the spectrum lab graph!

The story;
There I was listening to the beacon from the FO-29 ‘Fuji Oscar 29’ satellite to test out a new 70cm antenna pre-amp I designed and this other satellite came blasting out of nowhere and so far my research has failed to come up with any answer as to who owns it or what it even was… but then considering how much junk is up there it could be anything from anyone.

Sucker sure was fast!

Since I am here.
The FO-29 satellite is very useful for testing such things as antennas and pre-amps mostly due to how loud it is compared to others sats and it always seems to be within at least an hour pass when I always check its location.

Here is a stock pic of FO-29 during production.

Oh and you can also decode the FO-29 telemetry data;
http://www.ne.jp/asahi/hamradio/je9pel/fo29cwts.htm

or you can grab a more GUI version at

Mike ‘DK3WN’ also seems to have every satellite decoder so be sure to look around.

No data on my pre-amp right now other then it uses my stock of uPC1677C devices and anyway I should most likely be shifting some of this energy into a little better antenna setup before working towards installing any pre-amp for 70cm.

Any who just an odd spot for the night and hey I’m posting. ;-)
