Dearest,
I write this letter with a little over two weeks remaining before I get to kiss you again. By the time you read this though, it will be less than two weeks before you get to kiss me. It is a great thought, is it not? I just can't believe it's been so long since we last saw each other. The next twp-three weeks for me are going to be horrendous. I have a 15-25 page paper due on the 27th, an 18-20 page paper due on the 30th and another 5-7 page paper due sometime in between the other two. So, I apologize if my communication sucks between now and then. It doesn't mean to say that I'm not thinking about you. Plus, I'm sure you're going to be busy as well, with class ending (final?) and wrapping up everything at work. This kid is blowing his nose in my class constantly; this has led to me forming the desire to punch him in the face so he will shut up. It's just wicked annoying. I guess I'm just frustrated right now, because I really just don't want to be here anymore. I just want to graduate and get on with my life. These feelings of frustration might also be contributed to the lack of sunlight. We got hit with a big Nor'easter on Saturday. It's now Wednesday and it is still raining and windy. Not seeing the sun at all for almost a week takes it toll, especially on a sun person like myself, seeing as how I'm from California and all. Oh well, I'm sure I'll survive. Somehow. I was laying in my bed last night all curled up under two blankets and I was freezing and waiting for my bed to warm up and I was thinking how much fun it would be to cuddle up with you under some blankets on a cold, stormy, winter night. That's something I look forward to. A lot. I don't know why, but it feels very comfortable to me. I really like the thought of it. I have to admit something to you. It might seem really silly, but just read me out. When I first started writing letters to you, I was worried about content and what I wrote because I know you like to laugh and I wasn't sure that I could do that on a consistent basis. Actually, that I could do it at all. I was really nervous about the whole situation. I worried that if I couldn't make you laugh then things wouldn't work out well. I mean, I'm smart, but I'm not that funny, at least in my own opinion. It was nice to read that you enjoyed my letters and that you actually did find parts of them funny. It was really nice to know that I have at least some ability to make you laugh. I like hearing you laugh and see you smile; it makes me happy seeing you in that kind of state. I guess my frustration with school is due to the fact that I just want to get on with the next stage of my life. I want to start working and live in my own home and be an adult. I'm tired of writing papers and taking tests, things that just don't matter to me, things that have never really mattered to me since middle school. I've always found papers and tests a wast of time. Just because you get a good grade does not mean that you've learned anything and getting a bad grade doesn't mean that you haven't learned anything. I guess that's just my philosophy on school and life. Ok, not so much the life part. But the other part I am quite certain about, at least at this stage of my life. Maybe my opinion of school will change as I get older, but I doubt it. I will keep and open mind though, because you never know where something good or meaningful is going to come from.......
