It's been a while for the Carnival, huh?

I'm still trying to figure out if I want to put the Carnival on LJ, or on IJ. LJ would be fine, because I would hope the majority of the journals would be pre-created with background from other RPs, and there are a shitload of RPs on LJ. But I'd rather not mess with whatever legal issues LJ may decide to fuck with, and put it over on IJ. There's

Well, I would prefer the RP to be on LiveJournal. I'm more familiar with LiveJournal, and I've only heard of InsaneJournal because of the whole Strikethrough thing, so I don't know how reliable it is. Also, I've noticed that blogs on other journal services get abandoned more often than ones on LiveJournal. But, on the other hand, 200 icons sound nice, even though I wouldn't know what to do with all that space.

So yeah, that's my two cents. Make what you will of it.

That's kinda it. I want the Carnival to last a while, and LJ is the best grounds for that. But LJ has been causing several alarms to go off with each news update. IJ is pretty awesome, and it does allow for Open ID. BUT, it means people would have to check a new site and create a new journal and that can be a lot of work, especially if their connection is shit or is doing it's impression of shit.

I'm definitely thinking about creating it here. I don't want to, but most of the journals have been pre-made here.
