Advertising is constantly growing and evolving into new outlets. It's kind of like air or water in the way that it goes ANYWHERE it can. I wouldn't be surprised if we become so accustomed to it that we'll need it to survive just much as air or water. Anywhosits, the internet has provided companies with insane new ways of advertising. With pop-ups widely acknowledged as stupid and fucking annoying, these companies have had to devise new strategies to subtly embed their products into our collective subconscious. With the rising population of broadband users, advertisers can explore new avenues. GIFs are out. Flash is in. Practically every advertisement I see on ye olde Web is some sort of flash file, whether it be a movie preview, a banner for a half-rate videogame based on a movie, or a "shoot president Vincente Fox in the face to WIN* a FREE** PS3♀/DVD player♀♂!!!!!!". The most prevalent of which is the latter. The point I'm trying to get at is that interactive advertising is everywhere online. You can't look up anything, from amatuer to anal, without being assaulted with stupid, irrelevant mini-games. Every so often, though, you'll come across one that's halfway entertaining. Such as this Coca-Cola poster maker:
To finally go along with the running theme of this bloggity-blog, here are some posters I made while bored:
I've dubbed this one as "Escape from Coca-Cola".
The worst part about Flash advertising is that it's unlinkable, so unfortunately I cannot share the small amount of fun involved in making such posters. On a related note,
Fanta was invented for the Nazis.
